Prepared New Meadow of Native Wildflowers Volunteering

On the month of November, volunteers at the USF Botanical Gardens planted a meadow near Lake Behnke. The new meadow consists of native Florida wildflowers. The event offered two days for volunteers to choose and I appeared on the first day for the morning shift. My task was to shovel a 3 ft diameter by 2 ft depth ditch to install a barrel mesh underground. Another activity I helped was surface ground preparation. I removed leftover vegetation such as fallen branches, exposed roots, and dead leaves.
