Supporting USF to Create an Office of Sustainability

The USF Sustainable and Ethical Practices Coalition created the 'Call on USF to Create an Office of Sustainability'. Started by Christian Chow Quan, the coalition is made up of Student Environmental Association, Botany Club, Students for Socialism, SPEAK, GLOBE, GenCleo, Marine Biology Club, JGHC Community Garden, Agrarian Club, Entomology Society at USF, USF PIRG, and the Botanical Gardens Club. 

The purpose on creating an Office of Sustainability as stated by Christian Chow Quan, was to remind the University of South Florida to take environmental responsibility of a Climate Action Plan created back in 2010. USF has weakened its reaction to maintain the Office of Sustainability and establish sustainability efforts across Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Sarasota campus.
