I have recently been accepted to intern at The Sustainable Living Project in Tampa, Florida! My internship concentration will be in compost farming. The Sustainable Living Project (SLP) is an urban farm and education center. Visitors are able to learn about the world of sustainability and advance green practices. My duties as an intern will be to guide volunteers around the garden, share green environmental outreach, and methods for composts. The urban farm is one acre of land that features 3 sheds, aquaponics powered by solar panels, and 34 gardening beds. I will intern at SLP for the duration of the Fall 2024 semester.
